FAQ

Jimi finishing a driveway.

What type of jobs do you do?

All sorts of concrete work. We frequently pour patios, sidewalks, steps, garage slabs, and driveways. We also do block and brick masonry.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes. Please contact us to set up an appointment.

How long will my job take?

It is difficult to estimate exactly, but we do not bounce among jobs. Once we start your job, we will finish it quickly.

Can you stamp and color the concrete?

Absolutely. You can choose from several different colors and stamp patterns.

Can you make exposed aggregate?

Yes.

Do you have any photos of previous jobs?

Yes. Please view our photos page.

How thick do you pour residential concrete?

We pour 4" thick, unless you request otherwise.

How do you reinforce the concrete?

We always use 1/2" rebar tied together in a 4' x 4' grid. Using 1/2"-rebar makes the concrete much less likely to crack than using wire mesh. For more information, please see our page about preparation.

With what consistency do you pour your concrete?

We pour with a thick mix of 4000- or 4500-psi concrete. This helps prevent the concrete from flaking and crumbling. For more information, please see our page about how we pour.

Do you seal the concrete?

Yes. We always seal concrete when finished, to protect it and to give it a glossy shine; we seal stamped and colored concrete twice, to enhance and preserve the color.
